What is granny ripper?

Granny Ripper, also known as Tamara Samsonova, is a Russian woman who gained notoriety for committing a series of gruesome murders in St. Petersburg. She earned the nickname "Granny Ripper" due to her age (she was in her 60s at the time of her arrest) and the violent nature of her crimes.

Samsonova was arrested in 2015 after the dismembered body parts of a woman were discovered near her apartment building. Upon further investigation, it was found that she had been killing and cannibalizing her victims for several years.

During her trial, Samsonova confessed to multiple murders and claimed that she was inspired by the infamous serial killer Jack the Ripper. She was ultimately found guilty and sentenced to life in a psychiatric facility.
